Wagon 8 arrived March 4th, all the way from the Smeal Fire Apparatus factory in Nebraska! We are so excited to finally see months of planning and fundraising in person. She’s not quite ready for full duty yet, we will be sending her to the capable hands of Keplinger Repair Service Inc. for the finishing touches.

The new pumper is taking shape and work is proceeding on schedule. Here are some photos from the manufacturer as work continues.

Blue Ridge’s new fire truck is in production and due for delivery in November. It is a 2017 4 wheel drive pumper with Compressed air foam system (CAFS). Being built by Smeal manufacturing.
